26.02.12 Jurrasic Folk - Singers Nights (every 3rd Wednesday) will start at 7.45pm (instead of 8.15pm), giving an extra half for performers. The guest nights will remain as they are, i.e., doors open 7.45pm and start at 8.15pm, because we need that extra time for artist sound checks etc.

You may well have seen the Brixham News on 25th January. If so you will know that Maggie made it into the top 21 (out of 300) in the Oldie Composers competition. The top four songs were announced on January 30th following judging from Sir Terry Wogan, Ken Bruce, Johnnie Walker, Bob Harris and Malcolm Prince .
Maggie's song 'Peace For the Child' has been chosen as one of the top 4. And Maggie now has to record it in London. We'll keep you updated on progress.
Maggie is obviously delighted and has already been invited with Mike to play the song on air on the Judi Spiers show (TBA)..... read more>
