3db Ceilidh Band |

The 3dB English Ceilidh Band, was formed out of the well established Seven Stars Ceilidh Band specifically to perform for dance functions in a noticibly English style. Local research has turned up some great Devon tunes which combined with influences from around the world has led to a unique sound. Les Thompson, former Troika accordionist leads the way and also plays harmonica, Simon Hopkins guitarist of Cajun band Zig a Zag sets a very solid rhythm and also plays tunes on tenor guitar, Mike Cosgrave, formerly with Sin é adds variation with an impressive array of instruments, notably tin whistle and trumpet. A great caller completes the picture for a memorable event.
